Transform and Moe has won a contest to design the latest urban campus for the Copenhagen Business School (CBS). This project aims to create the world's best city campus.
The master plan or master plan is intended to CBS and regional environment Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, Denmark. New and exciting campus consists of teaching facilities, green areas, and urban spaces interesting and inspiring.
"For us, this project includes sustainability and creating teaching, research and learning environment that is integrated with a combination of external functions in the city. The design of this building also includes urban design with an area of 31,000 square meters," said Julian Weyer, CF partners Moller.

CBS's new master plan, focusing on the preservation and strengthening of quality in the university area. CBS also expressed as a green campus with landscape features, such as the Plaza Rambla and Solbjerg Plads. This plaza, together with the campus, has a high quality building architecture. The design team worked systematically to create an ideal world class campus.
"One of CBS's new vision, in terms of size and influence, the university should be a symbol of how Denmark and Western countries want to develop in the future. Universities have to be smart, compact, creative, heterogeneous, and has a strong relationship with the city and its people," Weyer said.
Inspiration and urban itensitas
CBS master plan created four different new city hall, ranging from the classic square around the metro station, to a recreation park in the middle of campus.
Blue and green elements included as part of climate adaptation strategies. This strategy has the potential to be a fantastic focal point and meeting place.
The importance of sustainability factors
C.F. Moller apply DGNB criteria (Green Building Council Denmark). These criteria include the use of rain water treatment methods in the recreation park. The project also accommodates social relations. Weyer stressed, CBS's new campus is not only intended for students and university employees.
Previously, there were six teams that passed the first stage of this contest. The six teams are BIG, COBE, Juul | FROST Arkitekter, Schonherr, Tegnestuen Vandkunsten and CF Moller. In the second stage, C.F. Moller emerged as the winner.
